Connect Groups (Small Groups Discipleship) – Alice Stringer
We grow SO much in small group settings…First Church has developed many options to choose from so we can help each other through life with the Word of God and prayer. Home Connect group offerings are listed on our calendar and feature different topics depending on individual needs. Those home groups are conveniently around the Sacramento area. Small groups offer intimacy and that personal closeness which nurtures trust…trust in God and trust in each other. Worship Team (Vocals & Instrumentals) – Kyle Rowland, Director
A mix of traditional, contemporary and classical music is heard at First Church. Kyle’s high energy, focus and excitement to worship Jesus Christ through many forms of music are contagious. The Worship Team humbly yet giftedly leads the congregation into offering one song with one voice to One God.
Wednesday rehearsals at 6pm; Sunday warm-ups at 9am; worship service at 10:30am.

Outreach Ministries – Pastor Marcia Hull
We have a deep passion to reach the lost and unchurched, and we know our church building is only a building…WE are the Church…people who have invited Jesus Christ into their hearts are the CHURCH! We get excited about building relationships with other people, getting to know them, what their interests are so we can ultimately lead them to a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus. We do that through monthly neighborhood walks where we pick up litter in the area around the church, offer information on events that are family-friendly and where almost ALWAYS food is served! Music, activities, serving….that’s First Church reaching out to reach people with the Kingdom in mind.
Monthly meetings to debrief and plan effective events; monthly activities/events to connect with community…a volunteer staff coordinates.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]
